Roof caves in

At least seven labourers were injured when the roof of a building they were renovating caved in on them in Totakan area of Batkhela, Malakand on Wednesday.

A Levies official said the labourers were busy repairing the roof of an old building which had been damaged in the 2010 floods, when it collapsed on them, trapping them underneath.

Locals rescued the workers from the debris and rushed them to a hospital. However, one of the labourers, Amirzada, was shifted to Peshawar for further treatment.
