Separate incidents: Man deprived of car; thief arrested

RAWALPINDI: A man was deprived of his car while another man was arrested for driving a stolen car in separate incidents in the Civil Lines area during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, Javed Iqbal approached the local police stating auto-thieves had stolen his Toyota Corolla (LOV-6692) from the porch of his house. Meanwhile, the same police arrested a man, identified as Muhammad Younus, and recovered a stolen car from his possession. A police party stopped a Honda City at a police checkpoint and while checking documents, the police party learnt that the books had been tampered with. The police took the driver into custody and further investigation is under way.
