Dengue inspection: EPA seals junkyard in Pirwadhai
The agency will continue to conduct such raids until the dengue mosquito was eliminated, Nawaz said.

The Punjab Environment Protection Agency (EPA) sealed a junkyard after it found dengue larva at the site. EPA teams inspected 27 tyre shops, junkyards and other sites for dengue on Sunday. EPA teams removed stagnant water from four dengue-breeding sites and sealed a junkyard in Pirwadhai. According to EPA District Officer Mian Mohammed Nawaz, teams visited 27 points including nine tyre shops, 16 junkyards and two under-construction sites and checked dengue mosquito larvae. As many as 23 sites were declared clear of dengue larva. The agency will continue to conduct such raids until the dengue mosquito was eliminated, Nawaz said.
