Upgrades: Renovated out patients dept opened
Nishtar Medical Institute Chairman Khwaja Jalaluddin Rumi on Friday inaugurated a new out patients department.

Nishtar Medical Institute Chairman Khwaja Jalaluddin Rumi on Friday inaugurated a new out patients department on Friday. Talking to newsmen, he said the OPD was reconstructed at a cost of Rs10 million. He said Multan needed another hospital like Nishtar as the number of patients visiting NMI was increasing. Rumi said funds for the renovation were donated by philanthropists. He said the new department would register patients on a computerised system. He said in phase one of the renovation, a waiting room had been built and trollies and wheelchairs were provided.
