Any time ,there is rain in AK,every thing shutts dawn. The Construction is cheap & most the money givien by Pakistan is wasted on political leaders,who have houses in UK & USA. These people are living most of the time in Kashmir House or houses built by them from embazzeled funds in Islamabad & Rawalpindi,so people of Azad Kashmir suffer,same goes to Indian hels Kashmir ,where most of the Government ministers & leaders are living luxerious life ,while the people in mountain araes have not even basic facility to cross the Nalas & or small lakes ,when it rains.The Azad Kashmir Government stays in Kashmir House Islamabad & capital city Muzzaffarabad is just for a show in paper. Shame on both side of leadership ,using the name of Kashmir to waste public funds in both sides.(raja habib jalib chairman jammu&kashmir human rights council int wing)
May the deceased rest in peace. Every soul tastes death. May Allah elevate them to the highest of ranks. As rightfully the editor has mentioned Azad Kashmir like the 100% of residents declare it as that also. Its called Azad because its free from tyranny and indian political gain. People are free and justice is fair. Albeit across the line of control we have jammu kashmir where people are under curfew and do not support indian occupation including the 15th August and yet on pak independance day they take part, now isnt that enough to aknowledge of what the people want? Thats why the indian goverment dont allow kashmiris under their occupation vote for independance.as
What a shame.. He's still bringing political hatred even when someone pointed it out.. Im so glad that my parents migrated to Pak, and im no more a part of such selfish and full of hatred people, who will not miss any opportunity to try to please their ego.
@pathetic: Dear pathetic, we are equally hurt by the fact people have died in PoK. We are sorry that India could not provide any direct help to the deceased, but, one day things will change.
@Asad: Dear Asad, you can recall that before 1971 war, every Bangladeshi was Pakistani and before 1947, every Pakistani was Indian. In India, we are taught that every Indian - whether Hindu or Muslim - has won us the freedom from British Raj. So, please get facts right, PoK was illegally captured by Pakistan, even after Maharaja Hari Singh accorded Instrument of Accession of entire Kashmir to India.
@Bharat Verma: @ajeet
Lying and dreaming up fairy tales is not going to change history . . . you should lie to those who are young enough not to know how Ranjeet Singh-- against the partition agreement with British, where the Muslim Majority Areas were to be Part of Pakistan connived and colluded with Hindu Raj and handed India Kashmir on a platter against the rules set out from the start -- if the rule was for Rajas to accede then what happened to Hyderabad Deccan, and Junagarh?
But the baniyas will always have "Baghal mein Churee and moon mein Ram Ram!!"
Second our soldiers are on borders, not assaulting civilians in Kashmiri cities -- like yours -- where the largest concentration in the world of troops per square mile exists -- if India is such a great democracy are you feeding democracy to the Kasmiris through the barrel of your guns?
i thought that indian readers would spew not their political and mental hatred on an article that mentions nothing but the unfortunate death of 8 people. but i was wrong.
@Bharat.. keep your self-proclaimed 'facts' for the brain washing of your own children. Thanks.
May the persons passed away, rest in peace. This land is called Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and is governed by its people. It has its own President, Prime Minister, Cabinet, Assembly, Supreme Court and other institutions.
@ Bharat Verma Being a Azad Kashmir resident, I feel sorry to not 'see you' since the time you were kicked out from AJK in 1947. Why you are failed to regain your 'ATOOT ANG' in 67 years?
Dear Tribune, editorial integrity requires you to mention that the incident took placed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), which is a part of India and illegally held by Pakistan. These facts shall be enlightened to your readers in Pakistan.
If its Azad Kashmir, what were Pakistani soldiers doing there?
Inna Lillah e Wa Inna Elehaye Rajeoon. The soldiers were there to protect us.
