Refuting the allegations by his party president Javed Hashmi, the PTI chief said in his 18 years of political struggle he has never needed any political crutches.
Claiming that he has always stood by his principles of fighting for real democracy, Imran said that he neither needs to nor would seek army’s help on political issues.
The PTI chief reiterated that throughout the Azadi March he has emphasised that he would never accept any undemocratic action or intervention.
Imran termed Hashmi's statement about the Chief Justice of Pakistan a figment of his imagination.
"It was unfortunate that Hashmi has chosen to try and malign me in a baseless fashion for his own questionable agenda," said Imran.
Earlier in an exclusive interview with Javed Chaudhry on Express News on late Monday, Hashmi said Imran Khan asked him not to worry, as a judge would order for re-elections. He added that three member committee was also selected to manage the affairs of the next elections as Imran was sure about midterm elections.
He further said that he wasn’t really sick during the marches when he was admitted into a hospital or when he went back to Multan.
“When he changed his direction and began moving towards the PM House on someone’s else’s direction, I decided not to walk with him any longer,” says Hashmi.

As a peace loving Hindu I urge all those in Pakistan to seek a better way of life through peaceful means. It is such a sham that partition from India happened. Surely the best thing would be to unite, we have less corruption and a more democratic system.
Imran Khan definitely has been talking about having the military behind him. And that is not good for Pakistani democracy. The people of Pakistan should be able to elect the government. And if the government doesn’t perform well, they should be able to vote it out at the next election.
Unfortunately, they’re not being allowed to do that, and that doesn’t augur well either for Pakistani democracy or for stability in Pakistan.

Mr. Hashmi, has lamented accusations in press conference and later on in talk show of Mr. javed ch. express tv. totally denied what he has uttered in his press co. confused personality confusing people. IK has affirmed his position that he will never leave without the resignation of PM. Controversy to name army, core commanders shall be unveiled, since in such vibrant media (though question about the media is being asked by media itself) it is very difficult to hide things.

It is telling that Pakistani cricketers do not exude sportsman spirit. We have had outbursts from most of their cricketers, including weird statements like they have 'big hearts' etc. Spot fixing, ball biting, ball tampering and every other kind of vice in cricket has had a Pakistani connection. Despite the individual talent, the Pakistani cricketers have not learned to be gentlemen. This is true of Imran Khan too.

Useless I said he said waste of time. If Imran Khan and Hashmi cannot put up with each others constructive ideas and criticism how can one believe PTI will have any successful but badly needed "Constructive Dialogue" with anyone in the present government or proposed dialogue commitees? First both sides have to shut their personal agendas, opinions or old attitudes to make progress. There are enough sensible open minded intelligent people in PML-N, Parliament and other parties.

IK, please speak of your agenda and not Hashmi Saheb's. In case you are still not aware of it, Hashmi Saheb is highly respected as an experienced politician of integrity by all parties. Maligning him will not serve you, only show you up as even more worthless. You have time and again with smiles mentioned the third umpire for the world to hear, and more that points to your ambitions to attain the powers that be run totally amok. Much as you mention democracy, the attack on public buildings is anti-democratic to state it mildly. To arm your followers with batons and worse when claiming peaceful marches point to lying to state it mildly once again. The destruction of the capital city under your auspices is not sustainable. The democracies of the UK and Scandinavian countries whom you quote, would have used police might against such the moment it began, many including the leaders behind bars for disturbing public peace and destruction of property.... IK nation has seen your demonstration of 'true' democracy in last two weeks it's extremely ugly and horrible-You wanted to rule the country like a monarch where views opposit to yours would be a crime. You have insulted collective conscience of the nation by blatant lies and foul language believing people like all that which is untrue hence you lost everything.
If a person can't even run his own party properly and select suitable people for important posts, then how is he to be considered competent enough to run a whole country and make suitable appointments?
Even if every accusation against Hashmi is accepted, it does not change the fact that he has been the appointed and accepted President of PTI for a significant amount of time. If even the person selected to be the president of the party was not trustworthy then what assurance do I have that the rest of the people holding important positions in the party can be trusted? And if a person can't even organize and run a party properly then how would he run a whole country?
And if it really is a one man show and he can't even find one reliable second in command, then what happens if something happens to him after he is in power? Would the whole country be left in the hands of untrustworthy leadership?
Is there even a plan here somewhere?
