President gives nod: AJK varsity gets mass comm department

MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has approved setting up of mass communication department in the AJK University Muzaffarabad. While presiding over a meeting in the President’s secretariat here on Thursday, Khan, who is chancellor of the university, said that the department was the need of hour and urged the university administration to consult senior journalists to make it a role model and success story.
