No loss of life: Govt high school targeted in bomb blast
A football tournament is taking place at the school’s playground, but all the matches are scheduled for the evening.

A bomb planted by unidentified militants went off near Government High School, Landikotal on Friday, damaging the main gate and boundary wall, said khasadar line officer Abbas Ali Shinwari. He said the explosion occurred at around 10am, adding no loss of life was reported as no one was present there at the time. Khasadars reached the spot soon after the explosion and cordoned off the area. A search operation was also launched but no one was arrested till this report was filed. A football tournament is taking place at the school’s playground, but all the matches are scheduled for the evening.
