Grieved: Death of Capt Safdar’s father condoled

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar attended the Quran Khwani for Muhammad Ishaq, the father of Capt (r) Muhammad Safdar, at Raiwind on Thursday. Safdar’s father, who was admitted to the Sharif Medical Trust, died on Thursday. Sharif flew in from Islamabad and arrived at the residence of his son-in-law along with his wife. Ishaq’ body will now be taken to the family’s native city Mansehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for burial. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar expressed sorrow and grief over Ishaq’s death.
