Independence Day Celebrations: Al Baraka Bank volunteers visit TCF

KARACHI: A group of volunteers from the Al Baraka Bank spent a day with the children at The Citizens Foundation School, which the bank sponsors, to mark the Independence Day. On this occasion, the school was painted green and white with national flags, tickertapes and balloons. During the day, children from both the primary and secondary sections presented various art based activities on stage, depicting the importance of celebrating the Independence Day. They took part in speeches, stage dramas, tableaux, and sang national songs. A flag-hoisting ceremony was held, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Gift hampers were distributed amongst the participating children at the end of the programme.
