Corruption Charges: Upper Kurram Agency APA arrested
The accused will be produced before an accountability court for physical remand.
PESHAWAR:
National Accountability Bureau Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday arrested Upper Kurram’s Assistant Political Agent Maqsood Hassan on charges of accumulating assets beyond his declared sources of income. According to a complaint received by the bureau, Hassan acquired a house, several plots in Hayatabad, Peshawar and invested heavily in national saving schemes besides owning a number of vehicles while serving as the assistant political agent of Mohmand Agency. An enquiry was subsequently launched which led to his arrest. The accused will be produced before an accountability court for physical remand.
