Raids: Police seize drugs, weapons

Other accused were apprehended for carrying illegal weapons and illicit drugs.

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police have arrested 11 lawbreakers in various parts of the city. The police also seized 845 gram hashish, 20 litres of wine, three 30-bore pistols with 11 rounds, stolen auto parts and fireworks from their possession. A police spokesperson said Jatli police netted Sarfraz for possessing 500 grams of hashish. Pirwadhai police rounded up Saifur Rehman in possession of 20 liter wine. Sadiqabad police arrested Saqib and Ziarat Gul and recovered stolen auto spare parts from them. New Town Police sent Umair and Talha behind bars on recovery for possessing fireworks. Other accused were apprehended for carrying illegal weapons and illicit drugs.
