Muhammad Qasim scored a hat-trick and Syed Ghazi Khan hit one goal as the defending champions completed the rout. Qasim scored in the 23rd, 33rd and 52nd minutes while Khan made it 4-0 in the 79th minute. KRL remain third with 36 points in the 16-team PPL while Pel are 10th with 27.
Meanwhile, after NBP’s Misbahul Hasan scored an own goal in the seventh minute to give a 1-0 lead to Afghan FC, Abdul Hadi scored in the 38th minute to consolidate their position. Jadded Khan and Ahmed Shah then scored in the second half as Afghan FC sealed the thumping win.
In other matches, Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation defeated Baloch Football Club 1-0 and Pakistan Army drew against PMC Athletico 1-1 in Faisalabad.
