The rally was taken out from Milad Park and reached the Bannu Press Club where the protesters chanted slogans against the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government, PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT Tahirul Qadri. The protest was led by the president of North Waziristan’s Affected People Committee Nisar Ali Khan.
According to the committee president, Imran and Qadri’s indefinite sit-in has obscured the plight of the IDPs. They slammed the PTI chief for not fulfilling his responsibility as a representative of the people of K-P. If he had cared about the needs of the displaced persons, he would never have launched his Azadi march in Islamabad amid such fanfare and would have instead worked towards protecting the interests of the IDPs.
Several protesters complained that relief items were being sold openly and the IDPs had to make do with substandard food items. Furthermore, large amounts of money were being taken from the displaced population by the authorities in return for receiving domicile and national identity cards (NIC).

@Fariha Rashed Yes, but the IDPs have come to Bannu from N.Waziristan to seek refuge. And I believe N. and S. Waziristan fall under FATA. "The protest was led by the president of North Waziristan’s Affected People Committee Nisar Ali Khan..."
Bannu is one of 24 districts that make up the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
@Rizwan Ahmad Sir, Read the very first comment in this thread. Having said that, PTI is doing its best and spending on these IDPs out of its meager resources when other provinces have closed their doors on these IDPs. Also, keep in mind that Federal govt hasn't given even a single penny to help IDPs settle.
Where is Imran khan who showed that he cared for them so much?such a drama queen.PTI supporters don't start abusing me because sadly i did vote for him.!!!
It is tragic that the people shown in the picture are able-bodied men just sitting there, and cannot be bothered to pick up the rubbish literally under their noses ........
FATA stands for Federally Administered Tribal Areas and not Provincially Administered Tribal Areas.
Ask Nawaz Shareef not Imran Khan, dear IDPs.
