UPPER DIR: Three persons including two security officials were injured when two landmines exploded in Sandrol area of Barawal tehsil of Upper Dir on Wednesday. District police officer Dir Javed Khan said that a person Shafiullah was going to his fields when he stepped over a landmine. Shafiullah was rushed to DHQ Hospital, Timergara. Javed Khan said that when police and security forces started a search operation in the area another landmine exploded injuring two officials of the security forces. He mentioned that it was not an incident of militancy rather a property dispute between two groups. A case has been filed and investigation is under way.
