KARACHI:
Habib Metropolitan Bank announced the launch of distinct Islamic banking identity SIRAT (meaning path and direction), that also implies the operatives of the new brand. The new Islamic branch at Korangi unveiling the new brand identity was opened a day ago, with two more opening shortly in Karachi and Lahore, bringing the total number to nine dedicated Islamic branches. The banking team combines Sharia expertise with strong business acumen to offer tailor-made structured solutions. HMB officials appreciated the support and guidance given by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and aims to be a key player in SBP’s strategic plan to achieve 15% market share for Islamic banking by year 2018.
