A five-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk, issued notices to all respondents, and scheduled a hearing for Thursday.
The bench is currently reviewing the Supreme Court Bar Association’s (SCBA) plea to stop all state functionaries from taking any unconstitutional step that might further imperil the political situation.
The court took notice of the mass inconvenience the protests have caused as well. During the hearing, the chief justice mentioned the commuting problems people are facing. Cases were adjourned because the court’s staff could not arrive on time, or could not arrive at all. Even the judges, he said, faced difficulties as they had to drive the wrong way to arrive in the court.
“Does anyone come to the Supreme Court through this mob? I have no concern about their political demands. My concern is that whether my fundamental rights have been hindered due to this prevailing situation,” Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.

The above comments clearly establish the fact that judiciary has no respect among the people . For this situation judiciary is itself responsible and hence ca'nt play a dicisive role at this critical juncture .
@Imran Qadri: First of all if the matter was this simple, why did the CM Punjab formed a committee to look into the matter?. Let me congratulate PTI and PAT for winning the war of narrative by: 1) Making everyone believe that controversial results of four seats mean that the entire elections were rigged. 2) That Model Town "shuhada" were not guilty of battling the police and did not defy the writ of the state. 3) That Imran is the most honest politician regardless of no accountability of funds collected for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital. 4) That PTI legislators, whether they file their taxes or not or declare their assets or not are most trustworthy, anyway. 5) That U-turns and promises not kept up still mean that IK always speaks the truth and nothing but the truth, notwithstanding, Imran's ambitious and unachievable goal, many of which he promised but could not achieve despite having a free hand in KP.

A big lol! When we were in University, every time we heard of a protest or a mutual fight, we heard they are student of law department. There is a true reason behind this. When students get rejection from all other academic fields, they get admission in Law. These low class student then become lawyer, and ofcourse judges. Tell me! What can one expect from these mediocres?

Just a couple of days back the govt asked the SC to restrain the marchers from entering the red zone. The SC dismissed the petition stating that this is an issue for the govt to deal with. Now, when the marchers have crossed into red zone, the SC judges realize that fundamental right are being violated and have issued notices to the protest leaders. I wonder what caused this U-turn.
Enough is enough, I voted for imran khan but he has surpassed all the limits. I'm ashamed of calling myself an insafian. Now don't start swearing at the Supreme Court.

Justice Nasir Sb, are fundamental rights only for a select few? How about the fundamental rights of the common man? And the Judiciary itself was restored through street power? How can our esteemed Judges forget the Judges Restoration Movement! Likewise, this is a movement to rid Pakistan of a corrupt political system. I hope the courts show maturity and impartiality during the current political impasse.
It's about time, steps were taken to stop the destabilizing actions of Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan. Look at their paid media cell at work here. They could muster only a few thousand people in their nefarious games against an elected government but they are in full action on the internet.

I travel almost every day using one-way (facing severe traffic jams) on mai-kolachi connecting road due to US consulate then Bilawal House and at times CM road after 11 PM. What about my freakin' rights Mr. Justice? This is routine for me...
We were stuck in Model Town for many days with family and the Honorable Lahore High Court passed a judgement that containers were not violating basic human rights and now this notice. One law for the poor and the other for the rich.

What a strange judicial system, you can kill 15 persons on point blank, kill 5-10 people daily in Karachi, loot public funds, People can die with drought, leaders can live with overwhelming luxury, block roads leading to MNA's and MPA's home (Hamza Shabaz, Shabaz Shareef Lahore Model Town), put up containers and construct 15 feet high concrete wall in front of Bilawal house.
Block highways and main roads for public for hours daily, on the name of VIP movement.
But you cannot protest, if you do you are violating basic human right. Wow! Man.

Providing justice to the citizens of Pakistan is also a fundamental right of every Pakistani. Unfortunately "Justic is for sale & for powerful people only. No one can deny it.
While you are at Supreme Court, why don't you also take up the case of the ICH (International Clearing House) that has stolen millions of rupees from expat Pakistanis who call their loved ones in Pakistan? IT has been a huge painful inconvenience for Pakistani parents, sisters and brothers and children living in Pakistan. Why this case? Because a few judges and parliamentarians are incovenienced from going to work? Please, do you know the amount of difficulty I face on a daily basis getting to work with the large containers outside CM House and Governor House and the Berlin Wall constructed at the residence of Bilawal House? (who is not even a parliamentarian). Imran is right. First solve the basic problems rather than trying to restrain those who are making very genuine complaints and voicing the opinions of the silent majority that is having to bear tremendous hardship on the hands of politicians while the judiciary is sitting silent.

Respected Justice Saqib Nisar, 18 crore people also have their fundamental rights which was suspended since inception of constitution. Have you ever try to address? Children need free education people need free health facilities. Have you ever think? People need quick justice and thousands of cases pending in your court since long. Have you ever think? People need cheap and uninterrupted electricity, clean drinking water, clean air, food, residence, jobs which were undertaken in constitution. Have you ever think? People need to be respected and your elite rulers disrespect them. Have you ever think?
