RAWALPINDI: The district administration has finalised arrangements for entry tests of the medical and dental colleges in Rawalpindi. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Imran Qureshi on Tuesday held a meeting with the city administration, education and traffic police high-ups to review the plan. The University of Health Sciences will hold the test on behalf of the Punjab government on August 31. A total of 6,500 candidates will sit the exam. Qureshi said Section 144 will be imposed around examination centres and candidates will not be allowed to take bags and cell phones with them in the examination centres. The police will install walk-through security gates at all the centres. Moreover, the City Traffic Police have made arrangements for parking and traffic regulation around the centres.
