The protesters said the camp had been organised to protect the Constitution and democracy. They said politicians must join forces to see the nation through this difficult time.
“The country faces problems such as unemployment, terrorism and an energy crisis, but the PTI chairman is only concerned with the fulfilment of his demands,” said PML-N Lawyers’ Forum Provincial President Muhammad Alamzeb.
Questioning where the money to run the province would come from if people stopped paying taxes, the lawyers said K-P already faces numerous problems as it is. They asked politicians to keep their egos in check and work for the development of the country to ensure the next generation has a bright future.
Abdul Latif Afridi, Maulana Shamsul Haq, Musarratullah, Muhammad Ishtiaq, Ashfaq Jhagra, Huma Gul, and Abdul Aziz were the prominent figures among the party’s legal fraternity.
