Ceasefire violation: BSF opens fire on border village

Two jawans of Chenab Rangers and civilian, Muhammad Aslam, were injured seriously and admitted to CMH Sialkot

SIALKOT: Two men of the Chenab Rangers and a civilian were injured in unprovoked shelling and firing by the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) in border villages along Sialkot Working Boundary’s Harpal, Charwah and Sucheetgarh sectors on Monday. According to senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the BSF started firing on Sialkot border villages on Monday morning which continued for two hours. Two jawans of the Chenab Rangers and a civilian, Muhammad Aslam, were injured seriously and admitted to CMH Sialkot. The Chenab Rangers also retaliated in a befitting manner and silenced the Indian guns.
