HYDERABAD: A delegation from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, visited coal mines and coal-powered electricity plants in Turkey. The delegation, led by MUET vice chancellor Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, also attended a seminar in the University of Ankara’s coal mining department. The seminar discussed open-pit and underground coal mining.
