Off the grid: Woman, two sons go missing

Husband claims Rs70,000, jewellery also gone.

ABBOTABAD: A woman has gone missing from home with her two children, the police revealed on Saturday.

Muhammad Arif, an employee of the Pakistan Military Academy, told the police that he left for his job on August 7, leaving behind his wife Khalida Bibi, 28, and two sons Ahsan and Ali. However, he was informed by relatives in the afternoon that Khalida and the children were missing.

Arif said he tried to contact her on her mobile phone, but there was no response.

He also reported that Rs70,000 and jewellery were also taken from the house.

Police have registered the case and started investigating.
