Overcharging visitors: Three jailed, fined for fleecing public

The official called police on the scene and jailed Ali Reza, Rana Shakeel and Muhammad Ali.

BAHAWALPUR: Assistant Commissioner Imrana Ajmal on Sunday fined and jailed three people for overcharging visitors at Bahawalpur Zoo. Ajmal had visited the zoo after receiving a complaint regarding overpricing and had an office boy purchase an entrance ticket for her. The people manning the entrance overcharged the official by Rs10. The official called police on the scene and jailed Ali Reza, Rana Shakeel and Muhammad Ali. They were also fined Rs50,000.
