MUMBAI: Working in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year has been a life-changing experience for Vivaan Shah, son of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, as he got the opportunity to learn both acting and filmmaking.

“The experience [of working in Happy New Year] has been superb. I can’t tell you how much I have learnt about the craft of acting, filmmaking and dancing. It has been a life-changing experience for me,” said the 24 year old.

The film has an ensemble cast, which includes Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sarah Jane Dias, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Jackie Shroff. “I have learned so much from Shahrukh and Farah. It is an absolute honour and blessing for me to have worked in this film,” commented Vivaan.

Singing praises of the film’s star-studded crew, he said, “Whether it is filmmaking or acting, they are masters of the technical aspects of a film. They are so good. Anybody who sees them working will learn.”
