Deadly mistake: Man killed accidently; shop burgled

The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem, said an official investigating the incident.

TAXILA: A 52-year-old man was killed while cleaning his pistol in Taxila, said a media report on Tuesday.  The deceased, identified as Akhtar Gul, was a resident of Village Chakian. He was cleaning his pistol when he accidentally pressed the trigger and a bullet passed through his chest, said a family member of the deceased.  He was immediately shifted to the Tehsi Headquarters Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem, said an official investigating the incident.
