Sehatmand pakistan’: Health minister leads walk

The minister said that efforts are being made to improve the health sectors.

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (NHSRC) on Tuesday organised a walk under the title of ‘Sehatmand Pakistan’ to highlight health issues facing the country. Addressing participants, NHSRC Minister Saira Afzal Tarar urged people to forge unity in their ranks and work collectively for the country. The minister said the country’s people have given a clear mandate to the ruling party to govern, adding that a so-called religious leader is trying to mislead people. The minister invited all political forces and stakeholders to use their energies in building a healthy and prosperous Pakistan. She said it is high-time that every political leader played their role in the progress and development of the country instead of creating anarchy. The minister said that the ongoing protests and marches are impacting business and stock exchanges. The minister said that efforts are being made to improve the health sectors.
