He alleged that he had said that his workers should only take action if anything was to happen to him or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Imran Khan. He added that he only urges and preaches peace to his workers.
Qadri went on to accuse the media of portraying his statements in a negative light, while holding up various newspapers' copies.
He said that the way the media has quoted him is such that he is inciting violence.
"The media is giving out a wrong message, but even then I will not put pressure on them,” Qadri said.
He added, “listen to my speech, listen to it three times if you have to, and keep in mind my body language. And if you see I am right, correct my words in the next edition of your newspaper, if not, then there is no pressure.”

Media had been patronizing all the hate speeches by Imran and TUQ. It seems this media is an Indain media. This senseless media should have some moral values and government and the opposition should bring legislation not to telecast any event/hate speeches which incites violence. Media is playing a big enemy role at this moment.
Shame on Imran Khan with joining hands with TUQ. They are working on the same agenda made in Canada and finalized in UK under the supervision of the Zionist to create situation like in Syria , Libya and Iraq.
Shame on this Canadian citizen who used their welfare system which is meant for poor peoples. Shame on Mr Qadri and he should go and jump into Lake Ontario.
Ironically, "sheikh ul Islam" in his book "dehshat gardi aur fitna e khawarij" has decreed that rebellion against rulers of an Islamic state is unlawful and illegitimate according to Islamic Sharia until and unless a ruler commits "kufr" openly,unambiguously.As far as PM Nawaz is concerned, he has recently been to Haramain and had performed his Umra.He hasn't committed any kufr yet.Or has he?
Qadri clearly incited violence.
@Sara: I appreciate your comments as they are helpful to have a constructive dialogue between people who love and care for this country. However, I do not agree for a second that it is the role of the parliament to build over- head bridges or run bus services. These facilities, although very useful for the public, have nothing to do with the job description of these parliamentarians we vote for send over. We expect them to make legislations and policies for the better health, education, employment, law and order, justice etc opportunities for the people of the country, especially the weak, the poor and the dispossessed people. We must not judge their performance through these developments alone. And lastly, there is no doubt that a large number of people must have voted for NS. That does not mean that we can assume that the last elections were fair and free. If NS secured a majority, why not recount ? Why not reassure the nation that their vote was counted for and there was no rigging in the elections? A true leader leads through the respect of its people, which can only be gained through a free and fair elections.
Another false statement by Qadri. His speech was telecasted live on each and every network and he provoked his workers. Now media should learn something, this is the result of patronizing the non-political entity. Who is at fault, certainly media.
@IY No NS will not resign nor he should. He did not conduct last election and he wont conduct this. We noted for him, yes, we the many many who are in silent majority.
@IY:
Give me a good strong logical factual based argument stating that PTI's current team is better than PML-N's team for taking Pakistan out of current economic crises. Intentions are no proof to gauge the performance rather is the deliverance of projects that matters the most. I also have good intentions and so do many others, so does it mean that I should be the President/Prime Minster of Pakistan? Its not about NS or IK, its about the team. Millions of others including me believe in the current team of PML-N and its performing. There are bad sheep's in every party so i'm not ruling out that PML-N is perfect. Also I don't doubt the intentions of IK but sorry I cannot vote for PTI based on speculations and irrational arguments. I need solid evidence that supports the performance of implemented projects which unfortunately have not surfaced yet even in their current tenure of KPK.
@Sara: NS must resign and give way to an immediate, free and fair elections, the very basic right of the people of this country. How can one even imagine that the nation will start recovering, from all the abuse over several decades by these so-called polticians and army take overs, without getting to have their real say first, through such free and fair elctions elections? The future of NS is certainly not more important than that of the people of the nation. This is really the most cruicial point, in the history of this country, when there is a strong possibility of challanging the status quo which is the real evil behind all of the country's problems. And I seriously doubt that another individual like IK will ever be allowed to come into the picture again, to make such challange. Either the status quo prevails or the nation starts taking its first breaths towards recovery, a long and testing journey but giving at least hope to the future generations of this land.
And this switch from English to Urdu is interesting . Just like it's okay to kill someone for blasphemy in Urdu but it's " not permissible " in English . What a hypocritical cleric!
It doesn't matter what the media says, revolution is the only way out of all problems!
plz tell who killed 14 innocents in model town on 17 june ?
TUQ is a hate-monger and he has gone nuts in his hunger for power. He is inciting his supporters on violence. Everyone has seen him provoking PAT workers to take law in hand. His followers acted upon his word and torched policemen and their vehicles.
@Original Kamran: I am sorry to say that people like you who set their house on fire to warm their hand. You can not find peace in middle of turmoil & cant have prosperity without peace. In nut shell IK & TUQ must shown the door. Both are spreading anarchy in Pakistan. Peaceful neighbor is good for everyone.
Donot endorse current or former leadership. But street politics has done immense harm in the past led to despot dictators. Does any thinking person really want to go to same path. Perhaps let the institutions evolving is a better alternatives. I vividly remember a free wheeling discussion with our English professor (who just returned from Oxford). In 1958 (I was a freshman ) students including I supported army take over. We are almost ecstatic. He pointed out we have not been given a choice to elect but rule has been imposed. Rest is history beginning of dark night of recurrent army take over. He was so right but 16, 17 year old couldn't not think clearly. I salute you professor ( I think his name was Dr rafique a PhD. May be he is still alive perhaps some of classmates remember the fateful discussion. Donot make the same mistake we made.
@Umair
Go where? Kindly do give irrational arguments on reasonable platforms. Keep your irrational arguments for supporting IK's irrational speeches which are full of speculations.
I may not endorse qadri's agenda but Nawaz must go now
