Independence day celebrations: University of Sindh to hold ceremony

After the flag hoisting has been carried out, other events will take place.

HYDERABAD: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, will be celebrating Independence Day on its campuses on August 14. A university spokesperson said on Saturday that preparations for the celebration have been finalised by the university management. Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Abida Taherani will be the chief guest at the flag hoisting ceremony, which will also be attended by all deans of faculties, faculty members, officers, employees and students of the varsity. After the flag hoisting has been carried out, other events which include tug of war and other sports activities will also take place.
