No matter how many characters die and whoever may get resurrected, the Game of Thrones fan following is never ending. And it seems like the fans are not just anxious to know what is going to happen next, but they also desperately want to get a small role in the landmark TV series.

More than 10,000 people answered a casting call for HBO’s hit TV series’ Spanish shoot and they did so in just 24 hours, reported The Huffington Post. Spanish Production Company Fresco Film Services, which is providing production services, posted on its Facebook page that it would attempt to respond to all of the hopefuls by email.

The shoot for season five has long been rumoured to be happening in Spain and the HBO and Spanish government made an official announcement last week. Fans of the George RR Martin book series speculate the country will double for Dorne.

According to the Huffington Post, a leaked casting breakdown supports the idea, with the casting call indicating that members of Prince Oberyn’s (Pedro Pascal) Dornish family will be featured in the new season.
