Armed Robbery: Shopkeeper injured, deprived of cash

A police team soon reached the scene and cordoned the area. Malik was taken to a hospital.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Police said a shopkeeper was injured in Gadai area on Friday after he resisted armed robbers. They said Zahid Malik had withdrawn Rs500,000 from a bank in the morning. He suspected that the robbers had followed him from the bank and forcibly entered his shop. They snatched cash from him and shot him in the leg on resistance. A police team soon reached the scene and cordoned the area. Malik was taken to a hospital.
