Late Police Response: Bike lifters escape

ISLAMABAD: Two suspected bike lifters were caught by a good Samaritan in Aabpara Market but managed to escape after fighting them off. The citizen had called the police immediately after catching the suspects, but it took the police over an hour to reach the crime scene, which was barely 10 minutes drive from the local police station. Police sources say a man called Rescue 15 stating he had nabbed two bike thieves in Aabpara Market. The suspects, however, had managed to escape after fighting him off. The SHO, however, claimed that the police arrested the bike thief later.
