VC Islamia College kidnapped by Waziristan Taliban not us: TTP
TTP says that they did not kidnap Ajmal Khan while they were informed that the Waziristan Taliban did.

Central commander of banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Tariq Afridi reportedly said on Tuesday that his outfit is not involved in the kidnapping of Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University Peshawar Ajmal Khan.
According to reports, talking to a TV channel, the TTP commander said that his men had kidnapped Vice Chancellor Kohat University Latifullah Kakakhel and had demanded release of their arrested accomplices and heavy ransom money in return for release of VC.
He said that the government had accepted their demand and had freed 50 militants after which Latif Kakakhel was freed.
However, Afridi said that the TTP was not involved in the kidnapping of Ajmal Khan, but they were informed that he was kidnapped by the Waziristan Taliban.
