Seven trucks loaded with food packages have been sent for displaced families by MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company. “Our group considered its moral and social obligation to help these distressed people who had to leave their homes under difficult circumstances,” said Alexander Dodds, the vice president of exploration and production at the company. “I have come here to get involved in this gesture of MOL Pakistan and to show solidarity with these suffering people in this hour of need.” The food packages will cater to one week’s needs of about 1,000 displaced families. Federal Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appreciated Dodds and the company’s contribution and called him “a friend of Pakistan”.
