VIRGINIA: Your editorial ‘Reining in Big Brother’ (April 16) was excellent. I would say that illegal wire-tapping goes back a long way and had a lot to do with bringing down Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s government as well.
Given that it has been going on for so long, it is a well-honed art in this country.
