“Certain quarters want to derail democracy and pave the way for other forces which will not be allowed at any cost," said Rafique.
Talking to the media outside the Parliament house, Rafique reiterated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is a politician and has the mandate of the people and thus, should adopt democratic ways of demanding rights while exercising his democratic right to protest.
“We are ready to sit with Imran Khan and resolve issues in a democratic and legal way and he should also behave in such a way,” he said.
“We know that the solution for every problem can come through negotiations and this is the method PTI should adopt to address their grievances,” said the railways minister.
Rafique added that Pakistan is a nuclear powered country and people should not make a mockery of the state at an international level by bringing their petty issues on to the roads.
“Whoever wants to hold a protest in Islamabad, has to give us the guarantee that they will maintain peace,” he added.
Further, Rafique advised Imran to stay away from retired politicians who want to make a comeback and misguide him to warp the system.
Talking about Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s allegations, Rafique said that he is provoking people and inciting violence, which was neither in the interest of the people nor the government.
“The government has made every effort to motivate Qadri to shun the provocative approach,” he said but hinted that the government may be at the end of its patience. “Now we will handle it as per the law.”

The Government should arrest all these spoilers trying to create instability in Pakistan. Musharraf must be laughing in his sleeves since he arrested problemchild Imran Khan in 2007 http://www.theguardian.com/world/2007/nov/15/pakistan.declanwalsh
Singing his master's praises in full throated gutter punjabi
@Adnan Siddiqi: Wow, some advice! The poor sod is concerned about his survival after his new condition of soon to be orphaned and you tell him things he has no clue about. The man has turned chicken and not just another chicken but the one without a head. Tch, Tch, Tch.
It will be great if the authorities in Islamabad were to publish the names of people who have stkes in Islmad properties including all luxary villas. The Governments faithfuls appear to be more interested in the properties rather than the people there.

Media should also learn some moral principles, why it is giving so much projection to instigators such as TUL.
Mr. Minister enough of this foreplay. Arrest these warmongers now and end this nuisance forthwith.
Lol. I wonder if Saad gave the same advice to Shahbaz when he was threatening long march? http://tribune.com.pk/story/60806/pml-n-threatens-long-march-awan-says-go-ahead/
If saad is serious, he should take back his stay order and allow vote verification of NA125. After all, if he won cleanly, why does he need to hide behind courts?
That dressing sense. God. There is a limit. Disaster.
@Yasser Masood: The guy is a dumb and should be concerned with improvement of train service for the people; he has no buisness to defend the Boss who has many Sharifs arouns him.
