Building ties: Pakistan, Iran discuss cross-border trade
Commission discusses issues relating to enhancing border trade between Balochistan and Seistan provinces
QUETTA:
The second meeting of Joint Border Trade Commission of Seistan-Balochistan province of Iran and Balochistan reviewed trade issues on Wednesday. Senior Iranian official Nadir Mir Shaker headed a 15-member team that exchanged views with Pakistani officials representing customs, railways, mining and the chamber of commerce. The commission discussed issues relating to enhancing border trade between Balochistan and Seistan provinces, besides other matters of mutual interest. The commission will continue its deliberations on Thursday.
