Recipe of the week: Chocolate soufflé

Let molten chocolate souffle tantalise your senses.

Do you need a dessert treat after your dinner feast? Well, take a bite of pure mouthwatering chocolate soufflé delight and tantalise your taste buds with this dreamy dessert suggested by realsimple.com.  Serve it warm and give your mouth a taste of heaven.


Ingredients

Butter  — 3 tbsp

Egg yolks  — 2

Egg whites  — 2

Unsweetened cocoa  — 2 tbsp

Cream of tartar — 1 pinch

Vanilla extract  — ½ tsp

Salt — 1 pinch

Sugar — 2 tbsp

Bittersweet chocolate — 3 ounces

Directions: 

Step one:  Set your oven on about 375 degree and heat well. Then grease one tablespoon butter on your 8 inch ramekins and then coat cocoa on them, make sure to dust out the excess. 

Step two:  Take a bowl to melt down the remaining butter and chocolate over the boiling water, make sure it is silky smooth when you take it off the stove and add vanilla extract. 

Step three:  Gradually add the egg yolks in the mixture while whisking it well until it’s smooth. 

Step four:  In a clean container, beat the egg whites with all the ingredients of salt, cream of tartar and sugar and then pour the mixture into chocolate and whisk. After that, pour the entire mixture into the ramekins. 

Step five: Bake it until it is set and puffed for 20 minutes and serve it hot with the tasty custard sauce if you like.
