Sulaiman, 18, and Qasim, 15, are due to land in Lahore on August 13 to join their father’s rally for the first time. His sons, with ex-wife Jemima Khan, have visited Pakistan in the past but have never taken part in any of PTI's marches or sit-ins. The two live in the United Kingdom with their mother.
Earlier, the PTI chief announced that he will stay in Islamabad till his demands are met, promising to sleep on the road with his supporters.
The PTI leadership has slammed the door shut on negotiations with the government and the party has started mobilising its supporters for the march at Islamabad’s D-Chowk where it hopes to gather one million people on August 14.
Imran had visited his sons in England in July. He tweeted a picture with his two sons and former cricketer Wasim Akram watching a match at the Lords cricket ground.

@Abid P. Khan: Maternity is never in question. So the Goldsmith resemblance proves little.
@Furqan: "Imran Khan’s (may be not his) sons have flown back to london ..."
Are you implying that the DNA lab report was fake, like degrees of some Pakistanis? Don't you notice that they have a strong Goldsmith resemblance?
@357: interestingly, the media created hype when Imran Khan's sons came to Pakistan but remained mysteriously silent when they secretly left for their homeland. Are you reading ET?
@Shahid: "Welcome new family into politics. This will lead to start his own business to be based in UK. He is no different then other politicians."
If Prince Bilawal can lead a party after his uncles were out of the way, what is wrong with the duo Goldsmiths i.e. Sulaiman and Qasim, grandsons of Lady Annabel Goldsmith, lead the party, come next elections?
Be generous, an English Citizen, has been imported specifically to rule the biggest province.
Welcome new family into politics. This will lead to start his own business to be based in UK. He is no different then other politicians.
Stop you haters ! Imran has to train his sons to take over the party after he retires.
Either in an air-conditioned SUV; or on foot with the masses. We shall see soon.
That is called true leader , it is really impressive however i am very concerned with there security in Pak , I request to PTI plz let them stay with Mother
It would have really a difference had he had accepted and allowed his daughter to participate. Pakistanis then would have found a true leader in him!
@Adnan Siddiqi: PMLN is a govt which is just too innocent:
4.3% GDP growth declared to the general public and 3.3% reported to IMF
Govt borrowing from SBP is up by 25.6% this year compared to the 2012-13
Major ministries are kept by NS and SS. Most of the rest are distributed to the people of same clan. Being Kashmiri is a qualification now!
Electricity problem would be solved within months by SS. NS later corrected it as his brother's josh-e-taqreer.
And you are defending so-called Shareef brothers!!!
@Urban Legend: What you PTI guys don't understand that not all of us are paid to defend Mian sahib, for some it is a privilege. I'm sure Adnan uncle is not getting paid. Besides, Mian sahib doesn't need people to defend him. His actions speak for himself. Just the other day my laptop broke and I was on the bus in london, stuck in traffic, taking it to the repair shop. I was thinking that if I was in pakistan, I would be enjoying the metro bus with no traffic and probably be getting a free laptop. Not only that, but I wouldn't be needing to look for a job, I could just get a loan from the govt! Free money! Not even the UK govt can provide facilities to kids like me that PMLN does!
@ Adnan Now you are talking. Education, health and rule of law (police system and anti-corruption measures that) are the 3 fields where PTI has certainly focused and has provided the results. Education: The promise of uniform mode of education has been fulfilled, is it not? The education budget holds the lion share in province's spendings, it.has been increased several folds (over 100 billion out of 400 billion total provincial budget). Campaigns like 'adapt a school' and 'taleem ka insaf' to revamp the government educational institutes are unprecedented in the province's history. It will take some time to bear fruits, but priority is certainly education which is the only way forward. Health: Peshawar was declared 'global polio reservior' by WHO. Sehet ka insaf was not only acknowledged by the same WHO, but the campaign was emulated by Sindh and Punjab governments. Was is not? The sewage samples in Peshawar were later found to be polio free. Rule of law: Read this: http://www.dawn.com/news/1120355 For the first time in history, patwaris went on strike for salary increase, any guess what made them do that? If you want me to provide reference for any of the above, feel free to ask for it.
@Urban Legend:
Keep on wondering dude. Its does not matter if I am getting paid or not. Just rebut me with a counter argument.
@Ebad:
I would love to find out from you on how the Inquilabi Government in KPK has made the life better for a common man. Education is a provisional subject now, ditto for healthcare and potable water. As for power and gas, the formula is simple - don't steal power and pay your bills on time.
P.S.1: You know that you do P.S.2: Ok, my bad!
Adnan Siddiqui, spend your energy somewhere. Wonder if you are paid for your efforts. Its an uphill task to defend NS and PMLN.
@Adnan Siddiqui: I am not a supporter of IK but please, you should not throw mud at anything that IK or PTI does. Bringing his kids in the rally proves that IK is committed and is risking what he loves the most - his own children - just like other common Pakistanis may be doing. Noon Leaguers need to stop plundering the country with their family syaasat and manage the mess they have created within one year.
@ Adnan Just because something is misplaced on the priority list, it doesn't mean we start boycotting them, after all its our tax money. As it has been repeated again and again, the objection on metros, roads and bridges has always been their priority (apart from the source of iron and steel used in the projects). When in a country with hardly 50% literacy rate (that too when the criteria of being literate is the ability to read a newspaper) and worst possible health facilities, minimum access to drinking water, huge electricity and gas shortages, poor rule of law (I hope I don't need to mention the recent examples), increasing poverty and joblessness etc etc etc, hundreds of billions are spent on cosmetic projects focusing limited zones of the country, questions and objections are bound to be raised. PS1: I hardly watch Mubashir Luqman's shows. PS2: You said 'schools'.
@Adnan Siddiqi: Sir, I am agreeing with you. Mian Sahib is not a hypocrite. He is very down to earth and humble. Yes, his sons may have business in UK and Saudi, while he is trying hard to get people to invest in pakistan, but it's not his fault if his sons don't listen to him. No matter what we know, we can still learn a lot more from Mian sahib.
But I am interested in your offer as well. Would love to meet you and learn more about mian sahib and PMLN from you. Maybe we can get together over a couple of keema naans and look at pictures of all the great roads Mian sahib has built, I'll bring my colour pencils and we can draw nice pictures of Mian sahib. Sounds like fun! Lets do it! When should we meet? Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sulaiman and Qasim Khan Golsmith are as 'asset' for KPK people
Would the boys visit KPK?....the home province of IK's PTI where inqalab and change has already been introduced? They will find this visit very useful so they can take useful points back home to London for assisting in similar educational and health reforms there
Its good to see IK bringing his own boys to jalsa and you will all see how they mix up with ordinary boys and girls on the streets, collecting chanda, traveling on roofs of pick up vans with loudspeakers inviting people to fasadi march etc?
@PMLN UK:
And after all your rank amateur attempt at being a stand-up comedian, you forgot to mention that unlike your leader of the occult IK - Mian Sahab ain't a hypocrite. You don't need to learn anything from Mian Sahab pal. Just spend a session with me and I'll clear out all your delusions.
@Ebad:
You have been listening to PTI's spiritual guru (Mubashir Lucman) a bit too much.Have you seen those billions with your own eyes which allegedly belongs to the son of our Prime Minister? How do you suppose a huge trust named Iteffaq Foundation is operating which provides social, housing and medical assistance to thousands and us twice as big as the SKMH. The only difference is that the Sharif Family do not use such public service endeavors for their political projections.
As for building streets and buses, I wish that here in Karachi someone with enough vision and kahunas would care to care build bridges, roads and metros. Since you are happy wearing the shades of bias at all times, I would suggest that you ought to boycott all such infrastructure which has been developed by PML-N
P.S. Even boys 18 and 16 need education, isn't Peshawar University fit enough to inculcate Cambridge style education in this boys?
The beautiful boys will not need bullet proof vehicles ....However for their protection they should not have their backs towrads the crowds..... I mean they should face the crowds
@ Adnan Photo-op? Ask your 'lion' to try photo-ops that can risk one's life rather than addressing crowds from behind a bullet proof glass. Just imagine the level of mortification one would face when the person addressing you keeps you on the other side of that shield, simply indicating that he doesn't trust you.
@Adnan Siddiqi: Good point sir. IK should be like Mian Sahib. Before Mian sahib was PM and used to come to London; he flew economy class, and traveled everywhere by bus, tube, cycle and foot. He also never dined in fine restaurants and preferred local street food (fish and chips). And despite owning a number of apartments in Park Lane, Mayfair, he prefers to stay in the local YMCA. I have never seen him wear designer clothes. And he never went to Lords ever (as no one has ever invited him, he did not want to waste his money on buying a ticket). We should all learn from Mian sahib.
atleast IK and co don't hide behind bulletproof glasses unlike many others. he sleeps over the containers not inside.
@ Adnan That comes from the follower of a leader whose sons don't even find the country ruled by their father worth investing their billions. Be patient, its only been an year, at least the tax money is being spent on the school rather than on building streets and buses, it wont take long when your wish of 'real slap' is actually fulfilled. PS: Aren't boys aged 18 and 16 too old to be studying in schools? Just a thought.
Few things which we need to keep in mind; Firstly sons of IK have not gone to UK for their education purposes, unlike the sons of NS who are there for specific business reasons. IKs sons are there because of a divorce agreement, and as people we need to respect others private lives.. Secondly certain commentators have been synical in giving references to alleged daughter of IK while refering to the participation of IKs sons in Azadi March. If all those who are passing these remarks about IKs alleged daughter claim to possess the high moral ground, then don't they realize what Islam says about keeping cover on someone's sins,as you would cover someone's sins , Allah would coverup your sins.. Regarding dynastic politics,this is interesting, this objection is coming from the followers of that party whose leadership belives that it is their divine right to rule,prime example Shahbaz, Dar, Hamza, Suleman, Abid Sher, Mariam and list goes on. However two wrongs never make one right. In future if IK does the same , i hope people like me will be the first ones to raise our voice.
@Ebad:
Ohh goodie! So in essence we should believe that IK and the grandsons of Sir Goldsmith would travel in this version of the Land Cruise then and it shouldn't be just some photo-op like IK wearing torn up shalwars and kurtas just to prove that he is the man of the masses while wearing designer Armani stone wash jeans, Brioni jacket and Kiton shirt while travelling through UK in Bentleys and Maybachs
@Ebad:
The real slap of my face and on the faces of other PML-N trolls will only be heard when these two burger white boys are made to live in Pakistan and attend the government schools in KPK being run under the aegis of "Taleem ka Insaf." Until such time, you can remain content with being a dimwit worshiper of a personality cult.
@ Adnan Siddiqui Toyota proudly introduces its new version of bullet proof land cruiser. http://alltvlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PTI-Lahore-6.jpg http://alltvlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PTI-Lahore-4.jpg
@Syeda Kazmi: British society is not a closed up one. They have acceptance of all orientations
Well training future heir?
Would Sulaiman and Qasim take part in this rally on motorcycles just like those thousands of PTI workers or would they travel under the protection of a bulletproof Land Cruiser and a security escort?
@Shams:
Definition of a selfless leadership - Win the World Cup and build a Khairatee Hospital and on the basis on these endeavors, demand from Pakistanis to make him PM!!!! If talking against IK and his self centered narcissistic personality is a manifest of a bleak future for this country, than we might as well descend into chaos beforehand and not give IK the chance.
Well nice move..
P.S: looks like the boy is wearing lipstick in the image..
The heirs of PTI are being trained to takeover the party once IK retires. Nice move.
@ Shams Absolutely! Cant agree more.
Now that's a real slap on the faces of PMLN trolls. Not too long ago, some of them were questioning the absence of IK's sons in the protest. Now they are calling it family politics. Very funny and very lame.
The comments here are disgusting! His sons are not becoming ministers, they are to attend a peaceful protest. PML-N has no tolerance left in them just like their integrity.
In fact it's disgusting IK is using his own kids as cheap publicity and support for March. If his kids are so committed to Pakistan, why don't they come and study in Pakistani public schools like millions of other children? PTI cheif's own "assets" are outside the country, while he blames other politicians for having "no stake" in PK.
@Shams: dear we should not be blind supporter of any political party or leader (this is basic reason for corrupt people gets elected again and again ) we should analyse with facts and figure before making any comments or decision only then Inshah Allah Pakistan will change!
PLZ IK don,t involve your children in politics ,if u want to change Pakistan ,otherwise you will be like other political parties ,kings system .
And what about her? Gender bias! I protest
@javed Khan: Hold your uneducated comments until he appoints them to lucrative positions in PTI or assigns them tickets to easily winnable constituencies. Until then just consider this as a harmless case of children supporting their dad.
Wish you have a safe travel and stay in Pakistan.
not too sure bringing family into politics, then you are like rest of them, and lets face it mr IK, you are IK of cricket but you are no ZAB of politics
Hope they give him a wise advice and tell him not to harm democracy.
People like Spock, Ch. Allah Daad, Blithe, and Adnan Siddiqui make me think that this country has absolutely no future!! But then I see Imran and his selfless leadership and it makes me believe otherwise...
These kids are supporting their dad during this march, I don't think these kids have any inkling to get involve In Pakistani politics, they are just kids. They live with their mother in London and their mother is Billionaire and does need to be involved in Pakistani corruption like Pakistani elite do.. Some how Javed Khan and Spock could never understand since they live in Pakistan. If at all these kids when grow up wants to be in politics, they will be running for office in England and certainly not Pakistan. By the way their schooling is not financed through corrupt money like we see others in Pakistani politics.
@Taimoor:
Why bring the kids for Dharna only? The schools are out in UK until 1st week of September and that's why these kids are travelling to Pakistan. Had this fasadi march taken place outside the holiday season, these kids would have never traveled to Pakistan.
As for family appointments, Saif Naizi as Additional Secretary General of PTI (Unelected) is more than enough.
Why only Sulaiman and Qasim? Why not Tyrian as well?
Why only Sulaiman and Qasim? Why not Tyrian as well?
@javed Khan: Er..no. They do not have any position in party. Unlike pmln and ppp.
Excellent. I wish our PM could convince his sons to do business in pakistan instead of UK and Saudi...thay would be better for pak economy.
Now is this not family politics.....dynasty as they say
@Spock,
You have got it totally upside down!
If this news is true, this man is bringing his children to dharna just like thousands of other children and boys will be there. This demonstrate sincerity to the cause.
As for family politics, Imran Khan has not made one appointment of his relatives anywhere in KP after 1 year in power.
People like you need to start thinking clearly and honestly.
@Spock: Whats with the hostility? They are just kids, going to accompany their dad in a rally. They are not going to plunder national resources. N media team could not come up with better allegations?
mr Spock his sons do not have any position in party nor they getting any seat. like imran khan sitters supported him throughout 2013 election campaign cause his sons will support are here to support his cause
Here comes the family politics first blaming others for family politics - it means here's another big U-turn you are about to see - imran is already famous for his U-turns. Keep watching the episodes of PTI drama daily till 14th Aug 2014 (last episode of PTI drama on 14th Aug 2014.
Imran blamed other for family politics. Looks like he has become a good politician himself. First he made deals with the devils and now bringing his family in politics. Good going captain.
I pray for their safety. Pakistan's dirty political games don't spare anyone to meet their nefarious ends.
Khan's children will be on road under open sky for change in Pakistan like other children of this nation. It is gesture that leader's family is with for sacrifice.
