According to details, five of the deceased died when roof of their houses located in Metroville area and Naval colony of Baldia town collapsed.
Following the incident, Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed imposed emergency in SITE area and Super highway Industrial zone and cancelled holidays of all employees.
Separately, a fire broke out into a factory due to short circuit in wee hours of Saturday.
Six fire engines were busy in extinguishing fire till the filing of this report.
