Two men and a woman from the same family were gunned down by armed men in their house in Panjgur district, an official of the Balochistan Levies said.
According to him, armed men barged into the house of Arz Muhammad in the Prom area and opened fire on his family.
Two men – Noor Muhammad and Peer Dost – and a woman were fatally wounded and died on the spot.
The killings triggered fear and panic in Prom, and prompted traders to close all shops and markets in the area.
Levies personnel reached the crime scene following the incident and moved the bodies to a state-run hospital for autopsy.
The bodies were later handed over to heirs for burial. It wasn’t immediately known who killed them and why.
Separately, a rickshaw driver and a teenager were shot dead in the Pashtunabad area of Quetta, the police said.
The two were moved to Al-Gilani hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
“It was an incident of targeted killing,” a Satellite Town police officer said. He added that the police have started investigation.
