In cold blood: Man kills parents in Lower Orakzai

HANGU: A man reportedly killed his parents over unknown reasons in Lower Orakzai Agency on Friday evening. Later, pro-government militia members shot the accused dead. A political administration official said Khana Jan, a resident of Melosar, Lower Orakzai, opened fire at his parents around 5pm, killing his father Misli Jan and mother on the spot. He added the reason behind the double murder could not be ascertained but the accused was said to mentally unstable. The official said pro-government militia members later gunned down Khana Jan who, it was discovered, had escaped from Bannu Jail.
