"The extent to which we will be involved and the mechanisms we will use will be brought forward in the coming days," he said in regard to MQM's participation in the march. The MQM leader went on to add that people are concerned about PTI's August 14 Azadi march. However, he said, it is the right of every political party to stage a protest, but not to create chaos.
Responding to a question about Article 245, Rizvi said, "The impact of the decisions taken by the prime minister and the federal cabinet can only be spoken about once the results come to light."
"Our paramilitary troops had already taken over parts of Islamabad to clear the area of militants. Article 245 was issued later, and the results and ideas of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar will only come forward in time," he added.
In regard to the Model Town case, Rizvi said he did not think such an incident would occur in a city such as Lahore, adding "if such a trend develops, it will be a point of concern."
"The Model Town incident should be a lesson for both the provincial government as well as the federal government."
In response to a question about the possibility of mid-term elections, the MQM leader said, "I cannot say anything about this yet, because no concrete policy has been issued from MQM as yet. We will see how the situation develops and will speak about it accordingly."

Main war is between Nawaz, Imran and Tahir Qadri, not only MQM every party in Pakistan will wait and see to their benefit.
Why would a party (MQM) who is a direct beneficiary of NRO and had its fingers in every pie would like go against status quo? it is not rocket science to understand.

@Noman: Ego has never been a priority d in the decision making process with MQM, anything for national interest initiated by any political party, finds support, however, opening up Taliban offices, all over Pakistan was not aligned with the ideology of the MQM, sorry, couldnt be there with you on that one
Nothing will happen without MQM's support. MQM has so much street muscle, and most importantly, they can bring Pakistan's economy to a grinding halt through their control over Karachi and urban Sindh. Ask any analyst or political insider, the MQM is the Pakistan army's ladli jamaat.
MQM is playing scratchy scratchy same as big boss Zardari. Both parties press PMLN to get what they wanted(Muk Muka).

MQM said killing PAT workers was the biggest crime done by PMLN againist humanity in Qadri's APC. As soon as PMLN hold on to both Imran Farooq killers no promise have been made yet to participate in Qadri's revolution.

this time allama Qadri will this time again say that the refusal of partilpation of MQM is democratic rights of them and there is no complaint against him. He must consult a doctor where is the problem lying that every time he is deceived. last time he enjoyed support of PPP but this time there is no hope and it is better to resign from politics like he had done in musharaf era when ISI left him totally.
Dr. Qadri is yet to declare the date of revolution ??? Is he not been able to foresee the date of revolution in Pakistan or nothing is visible to him without the support of PTI. Dr. Qadri is a waste of time, a useless person in the politics.
