Fatal activity: Four people drown in Swat River

In other drowning incidents 10-year-old Anwar and 21-year-old Fawad Khan drowned while bathing in rivers.

MINGORA: At least four people drowned in Swat River during the Eidul Fitr holidays. According to Madyan police, 19-year-old Bilal from Charsadda drowned in Swat River under Red Bridge in Madyan Valley. In another drowning incident, a 10-year-old boy identified  as Anwar who had come from Buner district with his family drowned in the river while bathing in Fizagat area. Similarly, 21-year-old Fawad Khan, a resident of Fatehpur, Swat, also drowned while bathing in the Swat River in Fatehpur. In yet another case, in Dedawar area of Barikot tehsil, Hassan Khan drowned in the river while he was swimming.
