Protest staged in Multan after PTI leader allegedly tortures railways employee

Multan Railway employees have blocked the railway track in protest against a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA who allegedly tortured a Railways employee, Express News reported on Monday.
PTI MPA Majeed Niazi allegedly tortured gatekeeper Tahir Mehmood on Sunday night after he kept the MPA waiting and did not open the gate.
Defending himself, the MPA, while talking to Express News, denied beating anyone up. Instead, he contended that when he and his companions tried to open the railway track which was shut for over three hours, railway employees started beating them up.
Furthermore, he said that his companions were injured and are being treated in a hospital.
