ATC sentences convict to 20 years

MINGORA: An anti-terrorism court in Swat on Saturday sentenced a convict arrested in February to 20 years in prison. According to Mingora police, ATC 1 headed by Judge Mohammad Shoaib awarded the sentence to Dildar alias Umar Zada, a resident of Sher Palam, Matta tehsil of Swat district. Upon hearing arguments from the prosecution, the judge announced 14 years imprisonment for Dildar under Section 7 of the ATA, five years for possessing explosives and one year for possessing bullets.
