“A lot of my friends observe the roza and this time I decided to accompany them. I’ve never fasted, so this could be difficult. But, the atmosphere is very spiritual and I want to experience it,” he said, reported the Hindustan Times.
The actor who gained immense popularity after his hit movie Aashiqui 2 will soon be seen in Yash Raj’s Daawat-e-Ishq opposite Parineeti Chopra.
His observation of the spiritual atmosphere during Ramazan inspired Aditya to keep a fast this year after years of consideration. He is planning to keep his first fast ever on the last day of Ramazan, which is considered to be one of the most important days of the holy month. Don’t know about him but we are definitely intrigued and excited to find out what the versatile star has to say about his experience.

Well, I don't see any reason to discourage someone from trying to learn about Islam or wanting to gain from a new experience. Its great that unlike most Non-Muslims (I apologise for generalizing) instead of hating on us, he's taking out time to explore something different - whatever his motives or intentions might be, is irrelevant. Lets be a little more open-minded and welcoming to those who are intrigued rather than afraid of us (Muslims). A lot of Muslims fast and use Ramzan as a time to 'detox' or to gain health benefits such as 'weight loss' during Ramzan. So what if a non-Muslim wants to adopt are practices and doesn't receive some spiritual enlightenment - I think its sweet (and no I don't find him attractive on any level) I'm saying this from an unbiased and neutral perspective.
He is doing this to promote his next movie in which he is playing the role of a Muslim.
