K-P govt to start grand operation against criminals across province

According to the Home Department, the province has been divided into 26 zones for the operation.

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to start a grand operation against terrorists, kidnappers, target killers and extortionists in the province, Express News reported on Thursday.

According to the Home Department, the province has been divided into 26 zones for the operation.

More than 100 contingents of commandos have been arranged and a list of around 2,000 suspects has also been prepared.

Oil and gas installations, Water and Power Development Authority property, airports, and television, radio, railway and bus stations were also declared sensitive.

The police have been put on red alert throughout the province as well.

Do all these people here not understand the difference between police action.... and an all-out military operation?! Whats wrong with you people?

There arent going to be tanks shelling houses or F16's dropping bombs... there should not be any need for civilian casualties and displacement! Grow up guys... seriously!
