Free Men: Two acquitted of murder charges

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday acquitted two men accused of murder. The judge acquitted Bilal Munir and Muhammad Hafeez for the charge of murdering Munir Shahid. Prosecution said Shahid Mehmood had received a call on February 25, 2012 that his brother-in-law had died and that he should pick up the body. He said when he reached the place where the callers told him the body would be, he saw Shahid lying on the ground. He then filed a complaint saying Munir and Hafeez had killed his brother-in-law over a property dispute. The court, after hearing detailed arguments and examining evidence, acquitted the accused.
