Sentencing: Court convicts man in illegal weapons case
A case, 325/2013, under section 23(1) (a) of the Sindh Arms Act was registered against him.
KARACHI:
A sessions court sentenced a man to seven years in prison in an illegal weapons case on Wednesday.
Mubarak was found guilty of carrying weapons without a licence within the limits of Sharae Faisal police station in 2013.
The district East assistant sessions Judge Sarwat Sultana pronounced the judgment after hearing both sides.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs30,000 and an additional one-month imprisonment in case of non-payment.
