Raza had reportedly claimed that under the NRO, it was guaranteed that there will be no military intervention in Pakistan until three general elections were held in the country. She had further said that United States, Britain, UAE as well as then ISI chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani were guarantors of this agreement.
Qureshi, while speaking to the media in Lahore, said Raza’s latest revelations were very serious and have caused a political storm. “I fail to understand this; she should explain herself further,” the PTI leader demanded.
Commenting on the specifics of the agreement, Qureshi mockingly questioned if the leaders who were part of the deal found it acceptable to have martial law imposed after the said third election was held.

Army is badly exposed!
Man, some people have their own set of history ! SMQ was the foreign minister and resigned on account of Raymond Davis issue (go check the newspapers). He was offered the same by NS... something not one of the PMLN have denied. But then again what level of accuracy can you expect from PPP or PMLN !
@Imran Qadri - He was the FM , he resigned due to the agreement PPP did on Raymond Davis.
I am sure many of you have a short memory, let me refresh it by saying that this guy didn't leave PPP on some principle, rather he left coz he wasn't offered Foreign Minister's post. Its a bitter truth that neither he nor any PTIian can deny.
It dosn't surprise me at all. The aim of the PMLN & PPP is crystal clear, they wanted to be in power no matter how many agreements have to be done with army or others. This is the dirty politics of these 2 major parties which have been practice since 70. The whole Pakostani nation have been treated like insects except their loved once.
Guess what NS is doing in KSA now??
Guess why Zardari suddenly went to USA?
Connect these dots you will understand the bigger picture of their dirty politics.
The bottom line is PMLN spend 25 crores on Mariam. N publicity while 2 girls being killed by their father in Lahore because he can't provide them food. I'm not talking about Rajanpur or some rural countryside, I'm talking about LHR where PMLN is in power from 26 years. Where 100 people have been shot on faces including pregnant women and the administrative of state don't even now.
The turning point of our fate is very close I mean 14 August and if we miss it as individually or as a whole nation there will be some days will come in near future where PMLN & PPP will practically sell us to fill their Swiss accounts. It's Do or Die situation!!!
@Adnan Siddiqi: Spot ON
A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have. This have been going for decades and lap dogs have adopted this procedure for decades including both families scoundrels and military dictators.
Now is the time to get rid of them and Revolution is inevitable to make Pakistanis a proud nation.
Where are those guarantors now. Dont' they see the civilian martial law existing now! Martial law is a martial law, be it civilian or military. It is a one man rule. Civilian governments have always been dictatorial in character whereas the so called dictators were more civil and democratic.
Where U come first.
We are all familiar with the United Bank slogan 'At UBL, you (U) come first'. It seems our democracy is also operating under some similar arrangement.
According to press reports, Peoples Party leader Shehla Raza has just disclosed that under the NRO, it had been agreed that no martial law will imposed in the counttry till three general elections, and Asif Ali Zardari, Rehman Malik and nine other party leaders had proceeded abroad to remind the guarantors of their promises, namely the leaders of the US, UK and UAE.
Going by the traditional definition of democracy: a government of the people, by the people and for the people, I would have thought that since leaders derive their powers from people, they are the ones the leaders should have recrouse to in case of any problem. However, just then I remembered that a cousin of mine had earlier on removed my misconceptions about Pakistani democracy by enlightening me that here it means government off the people, buy the people and far the people.
So, in case of any 'threat' to democracy in Pakistan, U must come first.
Karachi
OUR FATE IS IN THE HANDS OF LORDS ! How unfortunate we are that our GIANT LEADERSHIP is negotiating with their master to ensure their rule. PML-N and PPP are BADLY EXPOSED.
What took him 6 years to lay this demand? He was well aware of all this when he was a part of Gillani's cabinet, but when he didn't get his desired role he left, now throwing dirt back. Wait for Jiyalay's to throw some of there dirt on him. No ones a SAINT:
This explains why Army has so far refrained from Imposing Martial Law
This Multani Shehansah and practitioner of the medieval Piri Muridi should know better since he belonged to the inner core of PPP and was one of the most trusted lieutenants of BB. If not then, he had ample time to go over the mechanics of NRO with his leader Zardari when SMQ was Foreign Minister.
People really do end up loosing their minds when they join PTI. Figures, they are being led by IK.
